Sameer Rattonsey – Winner of Adda52 GAPL Satellite Captures
Kolkata, India, November 25, 2013 –Sameer Rattonsey, the popular poker pro recently swept all his opponents off their feet with his unbeatable poker mettle at the Golden Aces Poker League(GAPL) by winning the 25K Main event and the 15K Super Bounty Event.
Sameer made his entry in the GAPL main event after winning the online satellite tournament that took place at Adda52.com, the official online partners of GAPL. This was for the first time when a winner of a freeroll satellite has dominated the tournament and won the main event title.
Sameer is the Co-Director of India Poker Championship (IPC), one of the most prestigious & biggest Tournament Series in India. He is an accomplished poker player who has several titles & final table finishes to his name.
In the 15K Super Bounty Event OF GAPL, he finished in first place and won the prize money of INR 2,31,900. He ruled throughout the tourney & won the maximum number of bounties including the super bounty prize of Rs. 74,000. In the 25K Main Event, he was on the action packed table 6 and continued to dominate there. He entered the final table as the second chip leader but walked off with the top prize money of more than Rs.4 Lakhs.
