Which is the longest Poker money game ever played?

The longest-running game which ran continuously for 8 years, 5 months, and 3 days. It began in 1881 and was held in the basement of the Bird Cage Theatre in Tombstone, Arizona. The minimum buy-in of this high-stakes game was $1000. It is said that during these 8 years, around $10 Million was exchanged in the game. The game ended in 1889 when groundwater flooded the building. Ultimately, the owners Lottie and William “Billy” Hutchinson closed the theatre doors in 1892.
