HORSE Game

What is a HORSE Game?

Instead of a single game, how about playing a combination of five action-packed Poker games?

Sounds interesting?

Hold’em (H), Omaha (O), Razz (R), Stud (S), and Eight-or-better (E) are the most played variations of Poker. Many players consider the mix of these games, known as HORSE, the ultimate form of Poker to experience the intensity and real flavour of the skill-based card game.

For players who are seeking new challenges to hone their skills and abilities, HORSE is the perfect game.

How To Play

A HORSE game is composed of several rounds (one round for each variation). The number of hands in a round depends on the number of participants. Every player gets the chance to have the dealer button. Once the rotation of the button completes, the game switches. The first round is played in Fixed Limit Hold’em. Once it ends, the second begins (Fixed Limit Omaha Hi/Lo). The third, fourth, and fifth rounds are played in Razz (Seven Card Stud Low), Seven Card Stud High, and Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo respectively. After the round with Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo, the rotation begins again starting with Fixed Limit Hold’em.

In live poker rooms, the variant usually changes after every 30 minutes.

All the rounds are played in the fixed limit format only. The player can make bets and raises only up-to a predetermined limit. In a HORSE tournament, the variant rotation happens every time the blinds increase.

The rules to play are similar to other variants of the game. To win, you need to either make everyone fold with your bets or have the best five-card combination. The knowledge of the basic concepts of the game such as hand ranking, blind order, betting rules, table positions, etc is a must to ensure making the right moves at the right time. If you are a beginner, it is advisable to play at low stake tables first to become proficient in the game. You can also play freerolls with practice chips to familiarize yourself with the format without investing money.

Knowing how to play one or two Poker games is not enough if you are seeking long-term success at the HORSE game tables. You need to have the understanding of the basic concepts and rules of all the five variations. There are different strategies to play each of the variants, so it is crucial to practice on a regular basis to earn expertise.

You can play Texas Hold’em, Omaha Hi-Lo, PLO, Hold’em ++, and Crazy Pineapple variations on Adda52. Tables are available around the clock. To play with real money, you can join Ring game, Sit-N-Go, or Multi-table tournaments at any stake level that suits your interest, game knowledge, and bankroll.
