He lived in a trailer with his wife, Wendy, and spent his days working in the forests of the Maryland Panhandle. His grandfather taught him poker, and he initially started with Seven Card Stud and slowly shifted to Texas Holdem in 2003. Darvin Moon invested his poker winnings to buy a farm and pickup trucks for his family. Darvin Moon passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 56 due to complications from surgery.
