This festive season, the most anticipated poker event was the biggest poker carnival of the season – Diwali Dhamaka, hosted by Adda52.com. The event was scheduled exclusively for all lover pokers to double their Diwali fun. The event continued for 5 consecutive days starting from 22nd October to 26th October, 2014 offering a prize pool of Rs.27 lacs.
The event included 5 poker tourneys that too in several formats including Texas Hold’em Freezeout and Rebuy (2/1/1). In short, each day seemed to be a new poker challenge. Beside this, players had a great opportunity to get Satellite entries. The satellites for the event started in September with buy-ins as low as Rs.150.
The Diwali Dhamaka Week took off very well & thousands of players registered. Several players walked away with huge cash prizes while few others had a great time, chasing & fighting the battle for 27 lacs real cash.
The first winner of the first-day event namely – Prashant12, won cash prize of Rs.1,50,000 whereas another player named – iluvpoker, won Rs.96,000 by finishing at first position on the second day.
