Playing Rummy online is fun these days. It is one of the basic online card games where you have to arrange 13 cards in a set or sequence which is predefined as the set of rules. In this game, not just one but two decks of cards are used that also has both the Jokers in inclusion. A winner is decided in this game by declaring a valid set or a sequence and picks up or discards the cards from two different piles of cards. The game can be played between two or more players. How to Play?
This is one of the online money games where it can be played between 2 to 6 players with two standard decks of cards. There are two different piles of cards from where the players have to discard or pick the cards to form a correct set or a sequence with the cards in hand. There are a total of 13 cards in each player’s hand. To initiate the game, one card is picked randomly as a wild card also known as the Joker. This wild card is used to form either a set or an impure sequence. The cards are arranged in the form of 1 pure sequence and other sets. The player who declares such an arrangement first gets the points accordingly and wins the game.
How does the sequence form?
A sequence in the rummy game is three or more suited cards grouped in order. Now, these can be grouped in two forms:
1- Pure sequence
As the name suggests, three or more cards of the same suit when grouped purely without any mixture in consecutive order. No joker or wild card should have been used to form the sequence.
2- Impure Sequence
On the other hand, an impure sequence is a group of three or more cards of the same suit in an order which may include a joker or a wild card to complete the sequence.
What are the quick and short tricks to Win?
- A declaration is not considered valid unless it has a pure sequence, hence start making the same at the initial stage of the game itself.
- To get more points and avoid the high-value cards, try discarding them such as Ace, Queen, Jack, King, 10, etc.
- Keep checking and rechecking your cards and combinations before the declaration. Because an Invalid declaration may lose the points.
