Teen Patti is a traditional luck-based game where a player is dealt with 3 cards which he has to arrange so as to form the highest possible card ranking.

Skill against luck: –

Teen Patti is ideally played among three to six players.

Card Distribution-

In Poker, a player is dealt with 2 hand cards (also known as hole cards) which are dealt face down and as the game progresses, 5 community cards placed up which are common for all players.

In Teen Patti, each player is dealt with 3 cards which are distributed face down and there are no common community cards.

Betting amount-

In Poker it is compulsory for the player sitting at the small blind and big blind spot to place an initial betting amount. If other players wish to play the hand, they may put in a bet equal to the big blind or can fold without putting any amount.

In Teen Patti all players are required to place an ante or initial amount, which acts as the starting pot, to start playing the game.
