Berry Enfield Johnston is a highly admired American professional poker player who has won many titles and was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2004. He is well known as a gentleman both on and off the table. Berry is a veteran poker player who plays online poker at Full Tilt Poker.

Berry Johnston was born on September 25, 1935. It is believed that Berry started playing poker at the age of 35. He played at the highest stakes against some of the best players of that time, such as Chip Reese and Doyle Brunson.

Poker Career
Berry Enfield Johnston has played numerous poker tournaments in his career, challenging many legendary poker players. In 1982, he finished third in the $10,000 Championship Event at the World Series, considered one of his most important achievements.
In 1983, Berry won the first WSOP bracelets.
In 1986, he became widely known as the World Champion by defeating Gary “Bones” Berland and Jesse Alto. He reached the final table for a third time in 1990.
He has also won four other bracelets at the World Series of Poker, in addition to wins and cashes in other tournaments throughout his career.
Johnston also finished 5th in the 1990 World Series. In his poker career, he successfully made his way to 26 final tables at the WSOP. And in terms of money winnings, he has finished at least 54 times.
He is also popular for cashing 10 times in the WSOP Main Event compared to other poker players.
In 2007, Johnston won his last cash in the Main Event, finishing in 113th place. Competing against thousands of proficient players, he ultimately won $58,570.
In addition to holding the record of winning cash every year from 1982 to 2010, this poker player also holds the record for longest streaks, at 29 years.
Berry Johnston cashed three times in the 2008 World Series of Poker. As of 2009, he holds fourth place on the all-time cashes list, with 57 cashes in the World Series of Poker.
