Asia Poker League (APL) is a chain of poker online game tournaments, specifically for players in Asia who want to test their poker skills without risking their hard earned cash. It is hosted by PokerStars.
Tournament Format
Most of the popular poker variants are played in APL like Texas Holdem, Omaha, Stud, Triple Stud, 5 Card Draw etc.
Highlights
The APL maintains a points system to rank players’ skill. All the players get one point each, just for taking part in the Asian Poker League.
Main Event
The Asia Poker League is a daily hosted online poker league. Players can join the tournament for free and then complete for points against other regional opponents. The player with most number of points at the end of every week wins US$500 cash.
